Listening

Listening is such an important part of voice lessons. One that we easily overlook. How can we work toward any sound if we don't know what kind of sound we enjoy listening to and/or making ourselves? Voice lessons this coming year will have a listening component included in the syllabus in addition to other changes that will be made in the studio. There will be critical listening of your own recorded lessons (I know that's everyone's FAVORITE! :) and listening to recommended outside sources. It's going to add a very important dimension to our work in the studio. I can't wait to get started.
